CoMotion is the collaborative hub for expanding the societal impact of the UW community.   CoMotion delivers the tools and connections that UW researchers and students need to accelerate the impact of their innovations.

Since 2005, UW’s CoMotion has supported the commercialization of more than 250 projects and helped spin out new ventures including Element 8 portfolio companies EnerG2 and MicroGREEN Polymers.

CoMotion was previously known as The Center for Commercialization or C4C.

UW CEIThe Clean Energy Institute (CEI) aims to accelerate the creation of a scalable clean energy future by advancing next generation solar energy and electrical energy storage materials and devices, as well as their integration with the grid. The CEI seeks to accomplish this mission by creating the ideas and forming the people needed to generate these innovations, while facilitating the pathways to bring them to market.
