CleanTech Alliance represents more than 300 member companies and organizations across Washington state. Founded in 2007 by business and cleantech leaders, the Alliance facilitates the generation and growth of cleantech companies and jobs through a variety of educational programs, research, products and services.
The CleanTech Alliance was founded in response to a growing need in the region for an organization advocating and working for the emerging set of industries known collectively as clean, green, or environmental technologies. With a broad and diverse membership, the Alliance provides the perfect forum to share resources and expertise for developing smarter, cleaner more efficient ways of living and doing business.
The Alliance’s many initiatives include the annual CleanTech Showcase, and the 2016 launch, in partnership with Oregon Best, of the Cascadia CleanTech Accelerator. In 2014, Element 8 was proud to be the inaugural recipient of the Alliance’s CleanTech Achievement Award, honoring a business or organization for making a significant contribution in Washington State’s cleantech industry.
